ENoP General Assembly, Brussels — 1 June 2026

On 1 June, the Chavchavadze Center for European Studies and Civic Education was represented by its founders, Nino Kalandadze and Zaza Bibilashvili, at the annual General Assembly of the European Network of Political Foundations (ENoP), held in Brussels. This year's Assembly carried special significance, marking the 20th anniversary of the network.

Members from across Europe convened to discuss EU funding priorities, the future of democracy support, and the role of political foundations in an increasingly complex global context. Discussions also addressed the next EU Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) and its implications for civil society and democratic resilience.

The Assembly presented the inaugural ENoP Annual Impact Award, recognising the Danish Liberal Democracy Programme and the Centre for Multiparty Democracy Kenya for their joint project, the People Dialogue Festival.

The event was hosted by the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung EU Office in Brussels.
