On 28 May, Nino Kalandadze participated in a regional forum on the future of civil society in Central and Eastern Europe and the Balkans, held in Warsaw. The event was jointly organised by the LIBSEEN Network, 4liberty.eu Network, and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), with the support of VVD International and the German Marshall Fund of the United States.
The forum centred on defining an enabling environment for civil society organisations in healthy liberal democracies, bringing together experts, practitioners, and policy stakeholders to develop a shared framework of democratic standards and best practices that states should uphold to ensure a vibrant civic space.
